Shouts to our mates at This Is Hip Hop who are bringing The Lox (Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch), Capone-N-Noreaga and Onyx here over the next few months, effectively turning Manchester into New York circa 1998. Both these shows are unmissable for fans of that gully NY sound, click either of the flyers above to get tickets.

For our party at Gorilla this month, we’re celebrating the life and music of the best to ever pick up the mic, the king of New York, the black Frank White, Big Poppa himself, the Notorious B.I.G. At midnight we’ll be dropping a special set of Biggie classics, with all the usual Juicy heat from the streets the rest of the night. Grab a cheap ticket from Skiddle here. Joining us on the night will be the In The Loop crew, with Two-One hosting as always.

This Valentine’s Day we’re turning Gorilla into a certified freak zone, with an R&B special for all the lovers. We’ll be dropping a special set of smooth classics, from R Kelly to Aaliyah, Justin Timberlake to Mary J Blige, setting the scene for some intesely erotic vibes. Grab a cheap Skiddle ticket here.
We’ve teamed up with the Doctor’s Orders again for this year’s J Dilla Changed My Life night, celebrating the life and music of a true genius of hip hop. We’re welcoming the very special guests Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey and Illa J, J Dilla’s mother and brother respectively.
We also have some of the city’s best DJs dropping their favourite Dilla tracks, from Rich Reason, Jonny Dub, So Flute and In The Loop as well as Spin Doc repping for Doctor’s Orders.
Grab a ticket here from Skiddle, and as always all proceeds are going to the J Dilla Foundation and Lupus UK, both great causes.

We’re back on the scene, crispy and relatively clean this Friday at Gorilla. We know you’ve splurged all your dollars on ill advised christmas presents over the holiday season, so early bird tickets this month are only two quid from Skiddle.com here. Be quick, as it’s sure to be mega busy as always…
Champagne was sprayed, glitter cannons were fired, classics were played way too loud… the Juicy NYE party went off every bit as big as we expected. Thanks to everyone who came down and partied till dawn, here are some snaps courtesy of Dom “Perignon” Varden. As always, you can find the rest up on our Facebook site.
Tomorrow night we’re back to party in the capital, get your bad selves down to the Shacklewell Arms in Dalston (nearest tube: Dalston Kingsland / Dalston Junction) where we’ll be getting busy till the early hours. Just three quid in before midnight, so no excuses…
We’ve put together a mix featuring some of our favourite tunes that came out this year. Big hitters from the likes of Kanye, Jay-Z, Daft Punk and Drake to lesser known jams from Joey Bada$$, Madlib, Common and Freddie Gibbs. Enjoy!
Some snaps from our massive 4th birthday party at Gorilla by Dom “Perignon” Varden. Big thanks to all 700 people who came through, our guest DJ’s from In The Loop and Ugly, Matt, Smee and Lucy for the cake. The rest of the snaps are up on our Facebook page as always. Apologies if you got covered in cake or champagne, see you all on NYE.
It was all a dream… When the two of us started Juicy, we never thought we’d be celebrating our birthday with over 700 people four years later. That’s almost half a decade of sold out parties across three cities, DJ sets at the Warehouse Project, Fabric, XOYO, live shows where we brought hip hop legends such as DJ Premier, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, Raekwon, Just Blaze and many others to play Manchester, opening up for the likes of De La Soul, Jurassic 5 and Dizzee Rascal on the main stage at Parklife, over 200,000 plays and downloads of our mixes, playing with the Wu Tang Clang at Brixton Academy, a sold out run of t shirts, several million bottles of rum consumed, and just generally a lot of partying without the bullshit…
A big thanks to everyone who comes down and parties with us, all the guest DJs and MCs, everyone who supports the mixes and the whole team.
Grab a ticket here, but be quick as it’s already selling like hot cakes made out of crack. We’ve got the UGLY guys, Danny Beck and Rev Austin coming down to play back to back, as well as the In The Loop crew representing.
Notorious BIG – Juicy
